Presented in the style of an MMORTS game, the player selects a custom pirate captain who encounters Jack Sparrow and Joshamee Gibbs where they tell the player that the East India Trading Company is still invading the seas planning to defeat all pirates. Developed by Korean-based company JOYCITY, the game was released on May 10, 2017, sixteen days before the theatrical release of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
